Q: Am I the only one in the world who hates fireworks?
What's so special about them? I don't get it.
A1: I don't like them at all; that much sound is horrific!
A2: But why? Their awesome! Perhaps the explosions frighten you? Solution: watch them from afar; you will see their beauty.
A3: You're not the only one?I feel the same way. It feels like everything is falling around me and I die of panic. I usually hide while the pandemonium passes over and above me. My heart seems to stop from fright. But I bought some earplugs, and that solved everything. Now I don't hear the boom boom, but I can still see the beautiful patterns they make.
A4: Why are we so different. Anyway, the noise is not as important as the light and colors, the patterns. Now you should understand me.
A5: What? I don't believe you! Why? I love them! They move me so much; it's something inexplicable.
A6: They don't make me very happy either. Above all I don't like the amount they spend on such huge shows, and that they scare so many people and animals. Plus, they can be dangerous for the people who work on them and for the crowd the watches them, and can cause torticollis.
A7: I don't think you're the only one. I actually like to watch them, but always from a distance. But I must confess, I have never lit one in my life and I never will. I am afraid of the consequences.
A8: What fascinates me about them is their power to instill such a state of happiness and joy in those who watch the multicolored lights. I live near a place where they make them and when I can, I visit that place and it makes me happy. I have so much fun watching the craftsmen work. Long live pyrotechnics!
A9: Well, I love them; they're so beautiful. I think you're afraid of them, or something like that?maybe some trauma from when you were a child. But I love them, and the more colors the better.
