question number 1781 My husband has a 92 Toyota Celica that has some sort of short. He bought a new altenator, new battery & has tested the connection from the altenator with a meter. When wire is connected to alt - its putting out 9 volts, when he un-hooks the wire that runs from the alt - it reads correctly at 14 volts. Any ideas as to what this could be? Please help (tjnelson7@yahoo.com)
