question number 1113 What health issues does a chiropractor help to treat?

I was trying to be stylish and follow the fashions, like in today's society, it is important to look fashionable, but when I started having severe back pain, my chiropractor said it is more important to choose clothes, shoes and bags that are comfortable and that suit my style. My chiropractor said that by following and remembering these simple steps, it is possible to look and feel my best, and not damage my back. He said, if I must wear high heels, bring a pair of flat shoes along with me to change into should I become uncomfortable. The chiropractor even knew that I walk to work, and told me to wear flat shoes and change into your my fashionable shoes when I arrive to alleviate any pain or discomfort.

Before yet another round of "maybe-they'll-work-and-maybe-they-won't" antibiotics or the drastic step of surgery, I am considering chiropractic to help my daughter with chronic ear infections. One chiropractor who practices in Yonkers, New York, has published research showing that, after receiving a series of chiropractic adjustments, nearly 80 percent of the children treated were free of ear infections for at least the six-month period following their initial visits (a period that also included maintenance treatments every four to six weeks). After one Chiropractor in my Los Angeles neighborhood started treating my daughter, she has been free of chronic ear infections for months.

When my child was diagnosed, I wasn't in a rush to start pumping him full of medicine. Instead, I did some research and found that doctors of chiropractic and chiropractic neurologists offer a non-drug and non-invasive treatment alternative for ADHD patients that target the underlying problems, not just symptoms. One Chiropractor stated that motor activity is the baseline function of brain activity. Anything affecting postural muscles will influence brain development. Musculoskeletal imbalance will create imbalance of brain activity, and one part of the brain will develop faster than the other, and that's what's happening in ADHD patients. After my Chiropractor in Los Angeles gave my son a series of treatments, he's much better now.

My mother had been complaining about pain in her joints one day, and went to a chiropractor one of her friends in Los Angeles suggested. The chiropractor stated that many people confuse osteoporosis with arthritis, and wait for swollen joints and discomfort before being tested. Even though osteoporosis is painless until a bone fracture occurs, which occurred with my mother, it is important to find out how healthy your bones are earlier in life and if need be, adjust your lifestyle to avoid this brittle bone disease. The American Chiropractic Association recommends the following tips to maintain healthy bones: Exercising for 20 minutes, three times a week, is helpful. Those with severe osteoporosis and who have suffered from fractures may find Tai Chi, a form of martial arts, to be a beneficial strength training exercise system. This is what her chiropractor suggested for my mother, and she's much better now.
