 What are some things that you wish would improve when you go to the bathroom in a eating place? Better soap? toilets? paper? Better soap is a great idea. I noticed a difference in my favorite bakery's bathroom when they changed their soap from the conventional pink stuff to a lovely lavender-scented soap. It made the whole bathroom smell great and some of the smell drifted to the outside as well which was also lovely. I think it's also good to improve lighting if you can and just make the bathroom very uncomplicated and neat. Sometimes it's fun to hang a picture in there or a piece of interesting art. Posted by madalyn I will second the better soap idea, and also add that towels are great for a touch of class. Art is good too, as long as you can trust your clientele. Otherwise, maybe look at hiring an artist or artistic painter to paint the walls in a neat fashion to match your decor. That will give it a personal touch, and prevent vandalism.
