question number 140 I want to get an apple laptop with the intel technology, and I'm wondering which I should get...the macbook or the powerbook? Is the powerbook really worth it? I like it's sleek look, but it's quite a bit more expensive. I will use this computer for e-mail, surfing the web, and chatting online. I'll also use it fore word processing.

If you just use your computer for word processing and simple tasks, just get the macbook. The powerbook is for people who must run multiple programs or need a really fast, powerful computer for certain software.
Also, I have heard, that because the macbook is not made out of metal, you can get better internet reception because of the way things are condigured inside. The macbook comes with a built-in video so you can chat face-to-face online, too! Now you just have to decide whether you want a black or white macbook :-).
