question number 82 I believe, the old apartment that I lived in last time (before buying my house) had some lead problem. That apartment was very very old (not putting the name here). Is there any way I can figure it out ?

This is a great question considering last week was National Lead Poison Prevention Week!
To talk to a lead specialist, you can call: 1-800-424-LEAD with general concerns.
If the apartment was built before 1978, you have cause for concern, but if not, then you should be fine and your research can stop here.
The law REQUIRES that your landlord disclose the lead information, and your lease should have had information about the lead if there was any. Look over your papers to see if there is any information about lead. From my experience and talking with others, most landlords have fixed or are fixing the lead problem because it is such a health threat--it's just more profitable in the long run, and there are new laws about paint and removal.
If you are still in contact with your apartment neighbors and are worried about their safety, then share this site with them: http://www.epa.gov/lead/

I wonder if you'd be able to get a water sample from your old apartment? If so, I believe that could establish lead content from the water pipes. Also, if it had the very old style of paint that contained lead, maybe you could get some paint chip samples as well?
