I'm sure it's been done before, but I think it would be a great promotion to print your company's website on balloons and give them to children at public places like a mall, if the business was appropriate to be associated with kids.

I think this is a good idea. To enhance it perhaps you could include something for the adults (because they are the ones that have the money) and attach a flyer to the end of the balloon.
Also you must be carefuly about soliciting in malls. A lot of malls require that you get some sort of permission before simply handing something out. I remember that I was not even allowed to do a fundraiser in a mall because it was against the mall's policies. I would check with the mall before handing things out, even if they are free.

Yes I agree with getting permission first. If you couldn't get permission to be in the mall, for example maybe you could be in a close-by neutral parking lot instead? That might be something to look into...

yes I seen this done at fairs and festivals before. its a good idea get a some cool color ballons people will be looking at them. Maybe a get a clown to hand them out
