I have moved from North Carolina to Manteca to care for my Mother. In NC, I received excellent massage work from a woman who approached her thearpy with a whole body approach...addressing the health of mind, body, spirit. Although she was always booked with clients...she never appeared rushed and always took a few minutes to touch base with her clients and made you feel as though this time was set apart just for you! She had such a sense of peace that transfered over to the client...this was very important to me because it allowed me to switch gears and open my mind to the healing that I was there for. The methods she used that benefited me a great deal were "Barefoot deep tissue massage", which she used in the first ten minutes of thearpy. She had a special support rod that she held onto and also practiced from a sitting position when working on my upper back...we then moved into the tabled room where I disrobed and completed the session with a full body message that melted me like butter! I had never had all of the knots in my muscles release so well.
