question number 311 Has anyone heard about this diet? What is it supposed to do? Does it really work?

The lemonaid diet is a cleansing diet where you drink lemon juice, chile peppper powder, and maple syrup for a couple days to a couple weeks. Of course, you mix the combination with water, and that's why it's called the lemonaid diet.
I've never tried it, but I bet if this is all you are consuming for a couple days, you are definitely going to lose weight simply because you are starving yourself! Also, from what I've read, people have to go to the bathroom a lot, but I don't know if it really cleanses the system. That sounds suspicious to me.
