Is belly dance training easy?

As a teacher in Belly Dance Training by far and away my biggest task is how to convince and motivate people to keep repetitively doing the same old things again and again accurately and what to do with the constant pressure to "show us the next move" and "we can do this now, can we do something more advanced" and so on. This applies so much to belly dance training. Belly Dance training must be the one dance that is easy to do badly but really hard to do well. It really does not take that long to master the basic moves but it takes many years before these same moves start looking really easy and graceful. So unfortunately there is really no big secrets at all to it, the secret is to work out in Belly Dance Training how to do the moves over and over again without losing interest.

So clearly moves have to be repeated in Belly Dance Training exactly enough times to pass through different stages, as your trainer will tell you. In a nutshell it is far better to do 3 moves 1,000 times in Belly Dance Training than to do 30 slightly different moves 100 times. If you did the first scenario in Belly Dance Training you will be 10 times more skilled as a dancer than if you did the 2nd scenario. It takes not months but years for a move to look really effortless and graceful and that is all there is to it.
