Masseur’s should have a Membership in Professional Organizations such as: Professional organizations such as the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) offer the consumer an opportunity to learn more about massage and to locate a qualified masseur. Members of AMTA agree to a code of ethics that comply with state and local law. Professional organizations provide opportunities for continuing education to their masseur members.
