According to the dealer, the heads got so hot they melter onto the engine. Water was coming out of the tail pipe and the engine would not start. The dealer wants $4500 (parts and labor) to replace the engine with a used engine (i.e. long block). The dealer offers only a 90 day warranty or 4,000 miles. Even though I had a 10 yr./100,000 mile warranty on the engine and drivetrain, Kia claims that because the coolant reservor reptured, which only had a 50,000 mile warranty, Kia will not hornor the engine warranty. Is there a better deal out there to get my car fixed?
